The Village Shrink is a project created among friends to build the kind of psychodynamic community we long to be part of — a place to learn alongside one another the vulnerable knowledge that helps heal old and enduring wounds.
It is been a long-time dream of Reid Kessler to gather his smart friends and create a community to continue learning with them. Those early meetings were every other week with Elizabeth Laney, Stuart Weir, and Lindsey Robertson. We hoped to launch this project years ago then kids and life built up, and now here are back together with another dear friend, Sonja Munson.
For now, there is a website. Soon, we hope to launch a podcast and a blog to share what we’ve been thinking about. If you’re curious, check back later this year and see what has begun to take shape.
